Requirements

  • 2-4 years’ experience in the financial industry
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and enjoys taking initiative
  • Embraces challenges and change
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Basel III rules/regulations
  • Knowledge/understanding of CCAR requirements and processes
  • Basic Excel VBA skills with specific application to process automation

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes business balance sheet and risk-weighted assets identifying optimization opportunities
  • Ensures process, documentation, and procedures align with rule conformance of Basel capital requirements
  • Consolidates and delivers monthly Basel III capital results, explaining key drivers of variances
  • Provides transactional support for live transactions
  • Assists and educates business partners about capital, regulatory requirements, providing recommendations on how to operate in a capital efficient manner
  • Facilitates capital forecasting for strategic planning and capital planning purposes, including stress testing
  • Monitors portfolios to anticipate capital needs and financial resource use
  • Support capital planning and integrated financial outlook processes, including preparation of regulatory capital ratio forecasts for capital adequacy, recovery, and resolution planning
  • Contribute to enhancements of capital management processes by improving connectivity across business areas and legal entities.
  • Build cross‑functional expertise through partnership with capital management, Risk, Balance Sheet Management, Corporate Strategy, Liquidity, Stress Testing, and Recovery & Resolution teams, while developing knowledge of regulatory capital calculation and reporting frameworks.
