Requirements

  • 10+ years of field experience in a hands-on supervisory or superintendent role
  • Deep working knowledge of CNC machining, welding, and fabrication — this is non-negotiable
  • Proven ability to manage long-duration project sites (3–6 months) independently and professionally
  • Strong communication skills — regular direct interaction with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Clean criminal background required due to customer facility access policies
  • Stable, consistent work history
  • Genuine willingness to travel 80–90% — candidates who are not fully committed to this schedule will not be a fit
  • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
  • Residing within 45 minutes of the Greater Appleton area

Responsibilities

  • Leading industrial equipment projects from kickoff through final commissioning — full ownership from start to finish
  • Managing all on-site personnel, subcontractors, and daily field operations across long-term project sites
  • Communicating directly with customers, internal departments, suppliers, and vendors throughout each project
  • Coordinating product shipment logistics and ensuring installations are executed on schedule and to specification
  • Working hands-on alongside field crews as needed — this is a working superintendent role, not a desk role
  • Troubleshooting customer issues on-site and maintaining professional client relationships throughout each engagement
  • Traveling 80–90% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — valid passport required
