About The Position

The Senior Field Operations Support Manager will provide coverage and support to AIR Communities' multifamily housing properties, specifically addressing vacant Leasing and Property Manager positions and offering managerial support during essential and time-sensitive hardships. This role serves as a subject matter expert in direct operations, finances, and mentoring. The position may involve acting as the Community Manager, providing regional oversight for multiple communities, and supporting property management operations. The role also assists various management levels in completing action plans resulting from audits.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time with easy access to large Airport
  • At least 5 years of experience in Community Operations
  • At least 2 years of experience in direct Community Management role
  • Proven track record in managing large properties
  • Must possess strong team building, coaching and training skills
  • Multiple site supervision experience
  • Excellent customer service background
  • Strong financial results orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance value at the community level

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage and support to communities with vacant Leasing and Property Manager positions.
  • Provide managerial support to communities experiencing essential and time-sensitive hardships.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on direct operations, finances, and mentoring.
  • May serve as the acting Community Manager wherever/whenever assigned and provide the standard operational support required of AIR’s Community Managers.
  • May provide regional oversight of all aspects of Property Management of multiple communities as assigned including profitability and financial direction; budget and forecast preparation; outreach and marketing; training and supervision of staff.
  • Provide support to the Regional Offices in supporting the operations for properties assigned.
  • Assist Property Managers, Service Managers, Regional Property Managers, Area Service Managers, Directors of Service & Quality and Directors of Operations in the completion of action plans required as the result of an audit.
