About The Position

Raytheon Field Engineering is anticipating an opportunity for a Senior Field Service Analyst to support the E-4B program, a vital component of the National Military Command System for the President, the Secretary of Defense, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In this position, you will join a collaborative team environment to successfully produce aircraft cables and sub-assemblies in a lab environment. This position offers the opportunity to work on a critical program supporting national security while advancing your expertise in aerospace and defense systems.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 0 years’ experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with electronics, low‑voltage systems, and standard input power configurations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain current manufacturing-related MIL certifications, including soldering, required training, safety, and PPE qualifications.
  • Experience with cable production equipment, MilSpec standards, and specialty tools.
  • Experience using digital multi-meters and fiber-optic measuring equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Maintain high attention to detail and ensure quality in all assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with specific focus on Visio and Excel.
  • Knowledge and practice of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and executing statements of work, drawing packages, wiring diagrams, floor plans, technical documentation, directives, and standards.
  • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular AC 43.13‑1B, particularly Chapter 11 on Aircraft Electrical Systems, as well as Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMPs) and Standard Repair Procedures (SRPs).
  • Understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aircraft processes.
  • Experience with aircraft avionics and general maintenance technology and practices (A&P certification preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a focus on detail-oriented work and the ability to function both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow drawings and work instructions to construct various types of cables, wiring, and component assemblies intended for aircraft installation.
  • Provide system support services, including field integration and testing, with up to 30% travel to off-site locations as required.
  • Leverage strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively collaborate in a team setting or work independently to complete assignments.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and ensure quality in all assigned tasks.
