About The Position

GovSignals is seeking Federal Deployment Strategists to join their deployment team. This role involves working directly with the CPO to manage Department of War programs from initial client engagement through renewal. The primary goal is to ensure customers achieve measurable value, such as faster market research, reduced acquisition lead times, and on-schedule contract awards. The strategist will be responsible for winning programs, setting them up for success, and fostering growth. This includes providing expert guidance on contract clauses and managing the adoption of the GovSignals platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in customer-facing roles at companies that sell to the government.
  • Experience owning a Department of War or Intelligence Community customer, from winning the work through renewal.
  • Experience writing proposals, SOW language, or pricing that won work and holds up with a contracting officer.
  • Deep understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, from requirements through contract administration.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and integrations, and ability to work through problems with engineers.
  • Extensive AI experience.

Nice To Haves

  • FedRAMP High or IL5 deployments
  • Experience with the FAR and DFARS
  • Experience with OTAs and consortiums
  • Experience at a defense tech startup, in the military, or in a DoW program office.
  • An active or previous clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help our federal team win new programs: shape the requirement, write proposal sections and SOW/PWS language, and price the work.
  • Lead discovery with each customer, then build the deployment plan around how their teams work.
  • Configure the platform and train government users until GovSignals is part of their daily work.
  • Drive expansion and renewals through documented mission outcomes and new use cases across program offices and commands.
  • Work closely with the Product Engineering team to improve the platform and customer experience.
