About The Position

GovSignals is seeking Federal Deployment Strategists to join their deployment team. This role involves working directly with the CPO and managing Department of War programs from initial customer engagement through renewal. The primary responsibility is to ensure customers achieve measurable value, including faster market research, reduced acquisition lead times, and on-schedule contract awards. The strategist will be responsible for winning programs, setting them up for success, and driving their growth. This includes answering questions about contract clauses and determining the best approach for program adoption.

Requirements

5+ years in customer-facing roles at companies selling to the government.
Proven experience owning a Department of War or Intelligence Community customer relationship from winning work through renewal.
Experience writing winning proposals, SOW language, or pricing that is acceptable to a contracting officer.
Deep understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, from requirements to contract administration.
Technical proficiency with APIs, data flows, and integrations, with the ability to troubleshoot with engineers.
Must be a U.S. citizen or other U.S. Person due to the nature of government work.

Nice To Haves

Experience with FedRAMP High or IL5 deployments.
Knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.
Experience with Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) and consortiums.
Experience at a defense tech startup, in the military, or in a Department of War program office.
An active or previous security clearance.

Responsibilities

Help federal team win new programs by shaping requirements, writing proposal sections, SOW/PWS language, and pricing.
Lead customer discovery and develop deployment plans tailored to customer workflows.
Configure the platform and train government users to integrate GovSignals into their daily routines.
Drive expansion and renewals by documenting mission outcomes and identifying new use cases across program offices and commands.
Collaborate with the Product Engineering team to enhance the platform and customer experience.
