About The Position

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) is hiring a Senior Facilities Project Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency at the Missile Defense Integrated Operations Center. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting the MDIOC Chief Engineer with technical expertise and analysis of critical facility infrastructure systems that support Concurrent, Training, Test, and Operations (CTTO). The analyst assesses operational vulnerabilities and risks associated with facility projects and major equipment outages, and recommends ways to minimize disruptions to mission-critical activities. The role works closely with facilities teams, engineers, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to support facility reliability, operational continuity, and mission readiness.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution.
At least 7 years of full-time professional experience.
Must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with an emphasis on Mission Assurance and operational risk mitigation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, engineers, subcontractors, and leadership, and communicate technical concepts clearly and practically.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical documentation and presenting findings to leadership.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to climb ladders and access areas beneath elevated flooring.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

12 or more years of experience in Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance, facilities projects, or facility maintenance involving HVAC, electrical distribution, boilers/steam, chilled water, and domestic water.
Experience supporting mission-critical facilities such as healthcare facilities, data centers, industrial plants, military or government installations, or research facilities.
Experience using BMC Remedy or Revit.

Responsibilities

Conduct criticality assessments of facility projects and analyze potential impacts to HVAC, electrical, steam, plumbing, and other critical infrastructure systems to minimize disruptions to CTTO.
Prepare risk assessments, technical briefings, and presentations for government leadership.
Coordinate with stakeholders and project requestors to identify scheduling conflicts and recommend timelines for major facility outages and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with MDIOC directorates, particularly Facilities & Asset Management and IT Services, to support mission assurance objectives.
Work with maintenance teams to minimize the impact of facility maintenance activities on mission operations, training, and testing.
Provide technical guidance and safety considerations for facilities-related activities.
Serve as a subject matter expert on facility systems, supporting lifecycle planning, project reviews, and major equipment outage assessments.
Review project documentation, schedules, and technical artifacts to identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Develop and document standards, procedures, and best practices for facility activities affecting Mission Assurance.
Support ongoing evaluation of facility infrastructure to maintain operational stability and protect mission-critical events and test operations.
