You will lead an integrated facilities management team at our clients bay area corporate campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
  • Minimum 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in facilities management
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
  • Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field
  • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation
  • Familiarity with critical facilities such as data centers and related equipment/systems such as generators, UPS, ATS, cooling towers, fire-pumps, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the requirements of the contract.
  • Responsible for all line of business and third-party relationships with the assigned buildings.
  • Manage a team including Facility Management support staff and matrix management of Building Engineers, as assigned.
  • Manage performance of assigned staff and maintain interface with third-party owners, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate reporting, and resolution of critical tenant relations issues.
  • Cultivate trusted working relationships with client representatives and service providers, communicate and escalate appropriately, and partner with clients to implement best practices and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and all local, state, and federal laws governing facilities operations, including familiarity with managing critical facilities and data centers.
  • Lead and manage all contracted hard and soft service suppliers, ensuring consistent delivery per agreement terms.
  • Oversee receiving and dispatching of work requests to vendors and third parties, manage Facilities Coordinators, coordinate scheduling of maintenance activities, and track work order completion with vendor follow-up and invoice review.
  • Support facility inspections, sustainability goal implementation, and vendor performance management in partnership with sourcing teams while ensuring all practices follow company MSA requirements and client standards.
  • Manage and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets aligned with client goals, track variances, and ensure recovery processes.
  • Monitor workflow to assure timely completion within established SLAs and KPIs, review dashboards daily, and meet or exceed customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Support CEM and engineering teams for scheduled PM completion and compliance, and assist with collection of management fees from third-party tenants as needed.
  • Apply a programmatic approach to routine tasks, small projects, and service requests to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Lead JLL operations team with tactical planning, goal-setting, and execution while recommending, planning, and executing continuous service quality improvements.
  • Coordinate and support meetings with service providers and stakeholders, manage direct reports to achieve KPIs, and conduct root cause analysis for vendor failures and client RCAs.
  • Responsible for overall team management, staff development, succession planning, and growth initiatives.
  • Participate in compensation planning processes and build actionable, measurable career development plans for every direct report, maintaining consistent progress conversations to support professional advancement.
