About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for a Senior Executive Assistant to join their team. This role serves as a highly trusted partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, enabling effective decision-making, optimizing executive priorities, and ensuring seamless operations across leadership and board functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, exercises exceptional judgment, and excels at managing complex priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executives in complex environments
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting Board of Directors or senior stakeholders strongly preferred
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to build efficient processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with board portal tools (e.g., OnBoard) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize a highly complex CEO calendar, aligning priorities with strategic objectives
  • Triage executive requests and determine appropriate delegation and follow-through
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and decision-support content for meetings
  • Support executive communications and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintain organizational records, filing systems, and documentation processes
  • Oversee Executive Department budget
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for board and committee meetings
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and presentations in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage board records, membership data, and governance documentation
  • Maintain ongoing communication with board members, including updates via board portal tools
  • Support board onboarding and administrative needs
  • Maintain leadership meeting cadence, track decisions, and ensure follow-through on action items
  • Prepare briefing notes and ensure leadership is equipped for key discussions and decisions
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects on behalf of executive leadership
  • Track progress on strategic priorities and provide visibility through reporting and dashboards
  • Engage with senior leadership, board members, external stakeholders, community partners, and donors
  • Support high-level relationship management through professional communication and coordination
