About The Position

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) and Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA) operate as a "Bridgestone West" strategic region, servicing teams across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This role is for a Senior Executive Assistant within the Bridgestone Retail Operations team, primarily supporting the President of Bridgestone Retail Operations in Nashville, TN. The Senior Executive Assistant reports directly to the President and supports multiple Executive Leaders, managing complex schedules, facilitating communications, and assisting with strategic initiatives. This role acts as a trusted partner to the leadership team, ensuring seamless operations through proactive planning and execution.

Requirements

  • 5 years as an Executive Assistant with an associate or bachelor’s degree, or 5 years without a degree.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills with demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
  • Strong relationship building abilities with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, adapt to shifting priorities, and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Handle extensive scheduling, prioritize engagements, and synchronize with internal and external stakeholders to optimize executive time.
  • Manage high level communications, including drafting and editing correspondence, preparing confidential materials, and overseeing email workflows.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions to ensure leadership is well informed and prepared.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate complex travel arrangements, itineraries, and related documentation for business engagements.
  • Oversee light financial tasks, such as processing expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor communications.
  • Maintain organized, secure, and easily accessible digital files and records.
  • Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Slack, Zoom) to drive efficiency.
  • Assist in planning and executing key projects, events, or initiatives, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Act as a central point of contact, fostering positive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
