About The Position

As a Senior Executive Assistant, Office of the CEO, you will report into the Executive Office, providing direct support to the CEO. You have experience operating as an extension of senior leadership, understanding work styles, expectations, and preferences. Your expert-level anticipation has helped you consistently address your manager’s needs before they are aware of them. Your judgment and initiative are rooted in highly visible professional experiences that you’ve learned from. You have a high level of discretion, professionalism, and self-reflection. You’ve built a career assisting others and know the level of attention this role demands. You always think two steps ahead and have mastered the ability to stay on top of rapidly changing priorities and deliverables. You are a master at creating backup plans and alternative options when unforeseen circumstances arise. You’re highly resourceful, composed, and empathetic, adept at building and nurturing professional relationships. You create and prepare documents for meetings, make travel arrangements, lead ad hoc projects, and plan large-scale events.

Requirements

  • Directly supported top-level executives (C-Suite)
  • Well-versed in the demands and nuances of managing an executive’s calendar, including complex travel arrangements
  • Experience creating agendas, detailed documents and excel files in advance of executive meetings
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders at all levels, and from all backgrounds (internally and externally)
  • Ability to build appropriate relationships with assistants who support C-Suite leadership at client firms, government agencies, and other industry organizations with whom the CEO interacts
  • Confident and credible, readily building trust within the executive office team and with stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • High-level of emotional intelligence and ability to navigate sensitive situations within the Executive Office and across Capital Group with ease
  • Impeccable judgment and maintain a high-level of integrity and discretion
  • Patient and flexible, and able to adapt your style according to the needs of your manager and key stakeholders
