About The Position

Odyssey is hiring a Senior Electronic Warfare (EW) Instrumentation Test Engineer (SE-4) to support the 46 Test Squadron Sensors and Defensive Systems Flight (46 TS/TGBB) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The position supports developmental and operational testing of airborne instrumentation systems (AIS) flown on fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft, including integration of RF, EO/IR, and directed energy systems. The engineer performs complex test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for advanced EW and avionics programs. This is a full-time, onsite role with 25% CONUS/OCONUS temporary duty travel. The role may require extended hours, weekends, or holidays to meet mission requirements. The engineer conducts test engineering for aircraft instrumentation, contributes technical expertise on critical customer issues, and assists with requirements, capability, performance, design constraint, and test-criteria development. The position supports DT, OT, FDE, and test readiness certifications; prepares and analyzes test plans, procedures, metrics, and reports; and coordinates test projects, schedules, preparations, activities, and results. Travel to military ranges and other locations supports test execution, configuration management, hardware setup and troubleshooting, data reduction, and deficiency investigations. Testing, validation and verification, and modeling and simulation may take place at Eglin AFB, Ridgecrest, the Nevada Test and Training Range, Wright-Patterson AFB, and Patuxent River. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI. The minimum education and experience pathways are a Master of Science degree with 10 or more years of relevant technical experience; a bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or 12 years of experience in lieu of a master's degree. A listed cybersecurity certification is also required. Candidates need at least five years of engineering, R&D, and/or flight-test experience with weapon or avionics systems, including EW devices, along with experience with AIS, datalink ground systems, and 1760/1553 aircraft bus interfaces. The role requires technical leadership, strong communication and coordination skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency. TS/SCI clearance, CCSP certification, and RF/EO/IR/directed-energy integration and test experience are preferred.
