About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Event Services Manager to manage all phases of event planning, including corporate meetings, weddings, conferences, galas, social events, and VIP functions. This role involves coordinating event details with various internal teams and external vendors, ensuring events are executed according to client expectations, hotel standards, and budgets. The Senior Event Services Manager will also focus on client relationship management, upselling services, and collaborating with the Sales team. Additionally, this position supports department leadership by training and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 Year of Hospitality Experience, related experience at manager level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of event planning, including corporate meetings, weddings, conferences, galas, social events, and VIP functions.
  • Coordinate event details with clients, vendors, catering, banquet, culinary, housekeeping, engineering, and front office teams.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings, site inspections, and post-event evaluations.
  • Create banquet event orders (BEOs), room diagrams, timelines, and event documentation.
  • Ensure events are executed according to client expectations, hotel standards, and budgets.
  • Monitor event operations on-site and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell hotel services, catering packages, audiovisual services, and guest accommodations.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure a smooth transition from booking to execution.
  • Review contracts, invoices, billing, and final event reconciliation.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, local competition, and hospitality best practices.
  • Support department leadership with training, mentoring, and supervising junior event staff when necessary.
