The Senior Event Marketing Specialist will support the NYC COE division with dedicated event planning, operations, and execution across the company in partnership with merchant, PR, and marketing teams cross-functionally. This role involves developing event strategies to drive profitable sales through customer acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement by delivering the Nordstrom story through compelling and immersive experiences and persistent events focused on product and supporting business goals. The specialist will be responsible for rolling out national customer-centric events that drive brand awareness, store traffic, volume, and deepen customer relationships in NYC. They will develop strategic event plans, manage all aspects of event marketing from concept development to ROI tracking and budget management, and lead divisional event intake to create streamlined toolkits for YOY persistent events. This role requires managing complex events with multiple stakeholders, liaising with corporate teams, working with external vendors, and staying current on best practices in event marketing and innovation.
