About The Position

ASML US, LP is seeking a Senior EUV Plasma Research Project Lead to join their dynamic and innovative Technology Development team. This role focuses on conceiving and demonstrating technologies for next-generation high-power extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources, specifically those based on laser-produced plasma (LPP). The position involves advancing EUV source technology for future products by leading research on the radiation-emitting plasma, which is central to the EUV source's performance. The project lead will organize the Plasma team's tasks in alignment with the team's '3 in a box' structure, collaborating with the Plasma group lead and architect. Responsibilities include conceiving and evaluating technical concepts, designing experiments for validation, and planning/managing resources for ideation and experimental validation up to full-scale architecture performance demonstrations. The role also involves driving innovation to scale EUV power and stability by collaborating with Controls and Software teams, laser scientists, and fostering cross-functional teamwork with droplet generator and tin management research teams for a holistic EUV source development vision.
