About The Position

DominionX / RoyalX is seeking a Construction Estimator who shares their commitment to excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, supporting bid submissions, and collaborating with project management and operations teams throughout the preconstruction process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong experience in construction estimating preferred
• Proficiency in estimating software (Sage, ProEst, or similar)
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience and ability to mentor team members preferred

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to develop detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and evaluate bids
• Recommend subcontractor selections based on pricing and scope
• Partner with project managers, architects, and engineers during preconstruction
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Support estimating team consistency and mentor junior estimators
• Track market trends, material pricing, and cost-saving opportunities
