About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Senior Estimator for commercial HVAC work. The role gathers project information from account managers, end users, engineering and estimating teams, vendors, and other sources; evaluates field conditions; and develops costs for large-scale mechanical retrofit projects, including projects without drawings, plans, or specifications. The position prepares written scopes of work, schedules, compliant engineering solutions, and estimates, including conceptual estimates. It also applies project delivery methods and construction economic and accounting principles, and supports operational leadership and coordination across departments and processes. The estimator generates complete and accurate sales and Excel spreadsheets that comply with Title 24.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in estimating, engineering, construction management, or business management.
• At least 4 years of experience with HVAC design and building construction.
• Knowledge of the practical application of mechanical engineering, including redline designs, design techniques, plans and specifications, and the RFQ and RFP process for budgeting and bidding retrofit projects.

• Generate complete and accurate sales and Excel spreadsheets for projects that comply with Title 24.
