About The Position

Barr is seeking a senior environmental consultant to lead and support large, complex projects in Western Canada and the United States. The role will help grow Barr’s Canadian services while supporting clients and project teams. It combines project management and technical leadership for environmental permitting and compliance with client service and business development. Remote arrangements may also be considered based on qualifications, local regulations, and Barr’s needs. Travel may be required for up to 5–20% of the time, depending on project and client needs. Some work locations may involve rough construction-site terrain or industrial facilities with limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other typical industrial conditions; safety training will be provided. The anticipated annual compensation range is $150,000 to $200,000 CAD. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance.
