Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of entry-writing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary customs brokerage point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering responsive, solutions-focused support, and end-to-end issue resolution
  • Process customs entries with speed and precision, ensuring accurate data capture, clear communication, and on-time submission to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies (PGA)
  • Analyze, validate, and reconcile import documentation, classification, and admissibility requirements to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer SOPs
  • Own and maintain customer SOPs and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) databases, driving consistent execution, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across the account base
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve entry, release, and delivery blockers early, preventing delays, reducing exceptions, and protecting service commitments
  • Coordinate cargo dispatch and final-mile delivery with preferred carriers, confirm delivery completion, and finalize rates and assessorial charges accurately
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, account management, and modal teams to protect import data integrity, elevate customer experience, and surface consultative opportunities
  • Lead customer outreach initiatives that strengthen retention and support account growth, positioning yourself as a trusted customs advisor beyond day-to-day entry processing
  • Recommend and help implement process and technology improvements that increase efficiency, improve quality, and enhance profitability
  • Mentor and coach team members on brokerage products, SOPs, and best practices, modeling strong prioritization, sound decision-making, and high performance against timeliness and audit KPIs
