About The Position

This is a telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. The Senior Engineering Partner Manager will engage with partners to understand integration needs, define product integration points, and translate those requirements into technical development plans that support alignment with the Red Hat Ecosystem strategy and enable the delivery of joint solutions. The role involves evaluating partner and platform components for compatibility with Red Hat technologies, assessing their suitability for targeted customer use cases, and providing strategic recommendations for optimal integration and performance. The individual will act as a subject matter expert for both Red Hat's product portfolio and partner products, understanding their purpose, functionality, impact to joint customers, and roadmap information. Collaboration with product, architecture, and partner engineering teams is crucial to define required platform components across RHEL, OpenShift, OpenStack, and ecosystem integrations to fully support customer and partner use cases. This includes identifying dependencies, validating requirements, and guiding teams toward optimal technical solutions. The role also involves establishing and leading engineering-to-engineering collaboration between Red Hat and partners, organizing and leading roadmap review and planning forums, and guiding partners through technical development and testing challenges. Partners will be guided through validated installation, configuration, and quick guides for Red Hat platform integration, ensuring their hardware, drivers, and applications meet Red Hat’s engineering, certification, and supportability requirements. Cross-functional engineering reviews will be led to ensure Red Hat platforms and partner integrations meet enterprise-grade standards for stability, interoperability, security, and scalability. Coordination with Red Hat engineering and partner teams is necessary to validate software updates, fixes, and platform changes across partner solutions, overseeing testing requirements, reviewing results, and ensuring compatibility or regression issues are resolved before release. Regular partner interlocks with Red Hat Ecosystem stakeholders will ensure alignment of joint products and solutions. The role also includes working with partners to create go-to-market collaterals, presentations, white papers, and blogs to promote collaboration outcomes.
