About The Position

As Senior Engineering Manager in the Pompano Beach team, you will lead and develop the product engineering team responsible for new product development, test engineering, and sustaining engineering activities for marine HVAC and refrigeration products. This role drives execution of engineering projects, coach engineering talent, and partner cross-functionally to deliver innovative, high-quality products that meet customer and business requirements. You will also support engineering strategy while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with company objectives.

Requirements

Lead and develop the product engineering team responsible for new product development, test engineering, and sustaining engineering activities for marine HVAC and refrigeration products.
Drives execution of engineering projects, coach engineering talent, and partner cross-functionally to deliver innovative, high-quality products that meet customer and business requirements.

Adapt cutting-edge HVAC technologies from home and automotive applications for marine environments.
Liaison between in house manufacturing team and world-wide network of suppliers
Ensure that product is designed for specific customer needs, but with wider applications and competition in mind.
Occasionally travels to support customers, suppliers, product launches, and quality initiatives.
