The TC Campus Rice Creek Engineering Manager leads the engineering team responsible for evaluating, improving, and controlling manufacturing performance for TYRX finished devices and components. Working onsite five days a week, this leader will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while driving reliable, high-quality products, processes, and systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing technical and/or manufacturing personnel preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment as a technical contributor or people leader preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and initiatives within a functional area preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of a specific technical or professional discipline, including an understanding of how work impacts related functions and business areas preferred.
  • Experience in resolving critical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that required cross functional collaboration in an urgent timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems.
  • May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
  • Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
  • Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
  • Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.
  • Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended.
  • Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
  • Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
