Senior Engineering Manager
About The Position
Lenovo is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for its Cloud & AI Platforms team. This engineering leadership role focuses on challenging problems at the intersection of enterprise infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and AI. The manager will remain technically engaged to challenge designs and navigate architectural trade-offs while enabling senior engineers to lead with ownership and autonomy. The role involves building and developing an exceptional engineering team, translating ambiguous product and architectural goals into executable technical plans, and guiding decisions related to architecture, reliability, security, and engineering quality. The manager will develop senior engineers into technical leaders, deliver complex platform capabilities from concept through production, and collaborate across engineering, product, architecture, and business organizations. Ideal candidates have deep software engineering experience and a track record leading complex distributed, cloud-native, or enterprise software development. Relevant experience may include Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, AI platforms, GenAI, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience leading and developing engineering teams.
