The Rubrik Cloud Direct team helps customers manage and analyze petabytes of data and billions of files and objects. Based out of our Palo Alto office, you will drive your team while collaborating closely with key partners and stakeholders across our teams in Bangalore and Seattle to foster a cohesive and inclusive team culture. You will be responsible for setting clear goals, driving product value, and holding the team accountable to achieving engineering excellence. To achieve this, we look for leaders who balance empathy with high standards thereby creating strong engagement while delivering frequent, high-quality product releases. You will provide the structure needed to prioritize high-impact work while empowering your team with the flexibility to deliver beyond expectations.

Requirements

  • BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, of which 3+ years is in Engineering Management.
  • Experience with SaaS enterprise software development built and delivered on any of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience running engineering storage, compute, and infrastructure teams that work on SaaS and On-prem enterprise platforms.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and file system architectures.
  • Experience hiring and developing teams within an existing organization to work side-by-side with other teams.
  • Experience developing team identity, empowering direct reports, and building career growth options for your team.
  • Experience working directly with customers and vendors.
  • Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
