About The Position

As a Qualcomm Cellular Technologies Software Engineer, you will design, standardize, implement, verify, and validate state-of-the-art cellular technologies across a broad set of technology prototypes, standards, specifications, products, or components within a product. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high quality and capability air interface and modem that meet and exceed industry standards and customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for ORAN Fronthaul control plane real-time packet processing. You will be developing software for a distributed processor architecture comprising of 10+ IUs and HW acceleration engines. This role also provides the opportunity to participate and contribute to the ORAN fronthaul specification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities
