About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Operations team on a project in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. This is a full-time, in-person position. The Senior Engineer will manage onsite trade activities, coordinate materials from design and fabrication through delivery and installation, oversee cost control and issue resolution, and take ownership of project execution beyond assigned trade contracts. The role also includes interpreting construction documents and specifications and mentoring junior project associates. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a construction or engineering field, or at least 3 years of equivalent work experience.
Outstanding communication and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
Basic understanding of construction tools such as Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, and BIM360.

Responsibilities

Manage onsite trade activities, including coordination of materials from design and fabrication through delivery and final installation.
Track, review, and validate monthly payment applications for trade contractors.
Manage cost control and issue resolution, including change orders, RFIs, and proactive identification of potential risks.
Assume ownership of overall project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
Read, interpret, and apply construction design documents and specifications.
Lead with integrity and exemplify Holder’s culture by mentoring and developing junior associates on the project.
