About The Position

The Senior Engineer provides technical leadership in designing, developing, implementing, and operating technology solutions that support Americas supply chain and logistics operations. The role influences technical direction, advances engineering practices, and delivers reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems that create long-term business value. The engineer works with engineers, architects, managers, product teams, and business stakeholders on a modern enterprise cloud platform. The team develops Angular frontends and Java Spring Boot services and applies AI across the engineering lifecycle, including AI-enabled solution design, coding agents, agentic workflows, automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

7 or more years of professional software engineering experience, with strong fundamentals in architecture, APIs and integration, testing, security, observability, and maintainable code.
Advanced hands-on proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, and experience building enterprise applications with Angular.
Experience building AI-enabled solutions in production, including RAG, evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
Experience using coding agents and AI-assisted development tools, including context management and validation of AI-generated output.
Experience designing agentic workflows with task decomposition, tool integration, human-in-the-loop review, approval processes, and auditability.
Experience automating engineering and operational workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, data or process pipelines, and monitoring.
Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current role-based Microsoft Azure certification, or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
Must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; the employer will not transfer or sponsor U.S. work authorization for this opportunity.
Must be local to one of the listed areas or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Nice To Haves

Experience building agents and agentic workflows using Azure AI Foundry, MCP, or comparable agent platforms.
Experience with GraphQL APIs and event-driven architectures such as Kafka.
Experience deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes using GitOps and infrastructure as code.
Python experience for automation, data integration, or AI workloads.
Experience in supply chain, logistics, customs, or freight forwarding.
Experience with Agentic AI development processes and practices.

Identify opportunities to modernize systems, reduce technical debt, and improve operational performance.
