About The Position

The Senior Engineer role requires a strong foundation in theoretical engineering knowledge, including planning, operations, engineering design, analysis, modeling, and calculation. The position also demands practical engineering experience in these areas, as well as construction, with the ability to perform economic analyses, develop business cases, and present them to stakeholders. A key aspect of this role is the ability to document and interpret engineering documentation, and to review and approve engineering work performed by others to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and contract requirements. Knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment, including local, state, and federal standards, is essential. The role also requires good interpersonal and communication skills, with a global view of the business that values cross-functional collaboration and the development of relationships across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in gas engineering and/or related field

Responsibilities

  • Theoretical Engineering knowledge - Planning, Operations and Engineering Design, Analytic, modeling & Calculation, understanding the business model; Global View of the Business (Values cross-functional collaboration, understands importance of growing knowledge and developing relationships and links across the organization)
  • Practical engineering experience/application - Planning, Operations and Engineering Design, Construction, (e.g. field experience, standardization "Perform economic analyses of engineering alternatives, develop business cases and defend in front of stakeholders.")
  • Engineering documentation – Ability to adequately document and interpret engineering documentation
  • Ability to review and approve engineering work done by others to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and contract requirements
  • Knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance Environment – Local, State and Federal Regulatory Standards and requirements
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
