About The Position

Eversource is seeking a Senior Engineer, Strategic Solutions to support Transmission Interconnections and improve how Transmission Interconnection work is performed. The role applies engineering principles, systems thinking, and business analysis to process, technology, data, financial workflows, and strategic initiatives. The Senior Engineer leads complex process and business system initiatives from problem definition through implementation and continuous improvement, developing requirements, designing future-state processes, identifying efficiencies and automation opportunities, and working with business teams, Information Technology, vendors, and consultants to deliver sustainable solutions. The position calls for initiative, sound judgment, attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to build productive relationships while navigating change, resistance, and competing priorities. The role is hybrid where approved, with current guidelines requiring at least three office days per week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Employees must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed or if policy changes. The position requires availability for emergency restoration assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire as necessary. Eversource will not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this position.
