The Digital Engineering Methods, Process & Adoption Software Solution team is on a mission to drive digital transformation to Collins Aerospace. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience in all aspects/phases the software engineering product lifecycle to include all phases of certification.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevSecOps.
  • Experience with: GitLab, Git, CMake, MinGW, LynxOS, Coverity, Artifactory, Docker, Vista.
  • Experience with scripting languages: Python, Robot, Lava.
  • Experience with SW Harness Testing and Adaption (PySMART, Rapitest, Etc..)
  • Experience with AI technology for automation enhancements.
  • Experience in detailed technical writing for solution adopters.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of new capabilities for our SW Cert DevOps and Common Test pipelines.
  • Optimization of existing Software Solution capabilities.
  • Work across teams and departments to enable rapid onboarding of the Cert DevOps technology.
  • Be a self-starter, able to multitask and manage unplanned events.
  • Use organizational skills to keep track of everything.
  • Use effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date.
  • Use problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission.
