About The Position

Help assist Director of Engineering to oversee Level 1, 2 and 3 Engineer Techs. Performing advanced maintenance to keep all aspects of the Hotel at full functionality and provide the best Guest experience.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hotel experience
Advanced knowledge of maintenance issues and how to solve them
Experience leading a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities

Nice To Haves

Hotel engineer experience preferred
Proficiency in [specify relevant software or technical skills]

Responsibilities

Work closely with Director of engineering to keep engineering staff in compliance.
Review Engineering staff’s progress of PM rooms and tasks completed during the day.
Handle advanced maintenance requests.
Paint, repair, clean and perform filter replacements, belt inspections for the HVAC machines, keep logs and daily sign in inspections for boiler rooms, Laundry rooms, and ensure that pools have the appropriate dosage of chemicals for the pool and laundry rooms.
Running monthly testing on emergency lights transfer switches and emergency exit signage, replace failed ballasts fixtures and interior=exterior lamps, verify alarm panels sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers to be properly filled.
Handle advanced Alice tickets and make sure they are closed in a timely manner and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved.
Work closely with Director of Engineering as well as with all departments on guest related issues and internal hotel issues.
Report to Director of Engineering what happened on your shift, how many tasks completed.
Manage chemicals safely, including cleaning agents pool chemicals and paints while ensuring the correct labeling.
Use correct PPE equipment when performing a job including eye wear, ear protection, safety gloves, safely work on crawl spaces and boiler rooms.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
Display courteous behavior with guests and team members.
Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition.
Attend require meetings.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
