Senior Engineer (Frontend), Quality Platforms

This role is a part of Postman's Quality Platform team and is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer who will lead initiatives to improve Postman's quality platform infrastructure at scale. The role involves working with a small group of engineers to design and own processes and systems that enhance the reliability of Postman. The Senior Engineer will also be responsible for conceptualizing, building, and experimenting with internal tooling and frameworks to immediately impact product quality and improve developer experience. Additionally, the role requires driving innovation and continuous improvement by actively seeking out new ideas, technologies, best practices, and methodologies to enhance the platform and processes.

• Work with a small group of engineers to design and own processes and systems to improve the reliability of Postman.
• Conceptualize, build, and experiment with internal tooling and frameworks that will immediately impact product quality and make developers' life easy.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by actively seeking out new ideas, technologies, best practices, and methodologies that can enhance our platform and processes.
• Have prior experience (5+ years) working on large-scale JavaScript/ Typescipt applications.
• Have strong fundamentals in operating systems, infrastructure, and software design.
• Extensive expertise in building scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure across Web, Desktop, and IDE Plugins.
• Experience in conceptualizing and building dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Energetic and enthusiastic with a bias for action and a track record of success in leading and delivering complex initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with large-scale monorepo, microfrontends, and microservices (Nice to have).
• Experienced in using modern JavaScript tooling, including yarn, NX, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Storybook, Jest, Testing Library, Playwright (Nice to have).
• Experienced with ephemeral test environments and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (Nice to have).
• DevOps experience in implementing large-scale automation stacks using GitHub Actions, CircleCI (Nice to have).
• Experience building and maintaining reusable libraries for open-source or internal developers (Nice to have).
