Senior Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

The job overview for this position is that the candidate will be responsible for partnering with Engineering Leaders, product squads, and other stakeholders to enhance developer productivity and facilitate the deployment of services. They will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and promoting the adoption of new compute resources. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines, act as a point of contact for application teams, and work closely with the API distribution team to ensure a seamless platform experience for product teams.

Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.

Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.

Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

Act as a Cloud SME and point of contact for application teams.

Develop design guidelines, guard rails and standard methodologies.

Work closely with the API distribution team to ensure a seamless platform experience for the product teams.

Familiar with AWS services such as CloudFront, ALB, EC2, RDS, Route 53, Elastic Beanstalk, IAM etc.

Versatile in problem solving and resolve complex issues ranging from OS and application faults to creatively improving solution design.

Ready to work in rotation on a 24x7 schedule, and be available on call at other times due to the critical nature of the role.

Enthusiastic about fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions, Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.

Customer oriented personality with good communication skills, who is able to articulate and communicate very effectively verbally as well as in writing.
