Senior Engineer - Customer Engagement - MarTech Enablement, Content & Analytics

Songfinch is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Technology organization and work closely with product, design, marketing, and business partners. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of industry experience in customer-facing frontend or full-stack development roles, with relevant overlap in e-commerce or other consumer-facing products. They will be responsible for owning technical architecture decisions for the Marketing Technologies stack, launching new product experiences, and delivering successful marketing campaigns. The Senior Engineer will also help grow the department by 200% over the next year and support the company's mission of delivering millions of dollars direct to pockets of hardworking, passionate artists.

• Partner with various departments (marketing, product, operations) to scale engineering velocity by providing dedicated bandwidth to accomplish our customer engagement product goals
• Launch new product experiences and connect crucial reporting and analytics loops (confidential for now, but can divulge more in process!)
• Own technical architecture decisions for our Marketing Technologies stack and help drive projects to production with your team
• In partnership with operations and marketing, deliver highly successful marketing campaigns, leveraging new product and platform APIs and features
• Help grow the department by 200% over the next year assisting in hiring process and decisions across technology
• Support our mission of delivering 10s of millions of dollars direct to pockets of hard working, passionate artists

• Represent our company values at every step of the way in your daily actions, both externally and internally

• 7+ years of industry experience operating in customer facing frontend driven or preferably fullstack development roles, demonstrating the ability to own development projects and draft technical architecture, preferably with relevant overlap in e-commerce or other consumer facing products
• 5+ years of experience working with e-commerce, CDPs, or other user behavior tracking conversion driven systems
• Experience building & delivering engaging and personalized customer facing experiences and participating in product scoping efforts with non-technical teams
• Ability to own development projects and technical architecture
• Strong experience preferred in automated testing, CI/CD processes, AB product testing, and QA driven environments
• Product and customer experience “taste and style” preferences to help inform product choices and drive new patterns and capabilities
• A desire to get your hands dirty in all areas of product, marketing, and business development
