Accelya is hiring a software engineer to help develop AiroQ, an AI-powered platform that automatically generates executable test cases for airline distribution APIs. AiroQ generates scenarios for IATA NDC APIs and tests that can be run through SoapUI and integrated into engineering and QA workflows. The platform is accessible through AI development assistants—including Claude Code, Kiro, and Windsurf—using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), as well as through REST APIs. The role focuses on building backend services and integrations with TypeScript and Node.js, developing automated API test-generation capabilities, and maintaining cloud-native services on AWS. The engineer will work with NDC workflows, XML/SOAP testing, AI-assisted development tools, and production service reliability. They will collaborate with QA engineers, developers, architects, and product teams to translate business and API requirements into automated testing capabilities. The successful candidate will help evolve AiroQ into a scalable AI-powered testing platform. Success will be measured by generated-test quality and reliability, expanded NDC workflow coverage, platform stability and scalability, and adoption across engineering and QA teams.
