About The Position

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering Operations team. The role contributes to engineering projects and supports product reliability, performance, and lifecycle transitions. The engineer will conduct analysis, investigate field failures, provide manufacturing support, develop and complete testing, and work with cross-functional teams to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers, keeping current with industry developments, and preparing technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related area.
• More than 7 years of electrical engineering experience, emphasizing advanced analysis and problem resolution.
• Proven track record investigating and resolving field failures.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and manufacturing support.
• Experience diagnosing fundamental issues and in reliability engineering.
• Proficiency with electrical build and development tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Experience with industry norms and regulatory obligations.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced engineering analysis to improve field performance and product reliability.
• Investigate and resolve field failures to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
• Provide manufacturing support to optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet quality standards.
• Develop and complete test plans to validate electrical system performance.
• Apply root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of issues.
• Build and develop electrical systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
• Implement procedures to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support product transitions through different lifecycle stages to ensure seamless integration.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to collaborators.
