About The Position

EXP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Mission Critical team. The role is based in Coral Gables or elsewhere in Florida. The engineer will lead electrical project work and production of construction documents from initial design through bidding, while coordinating with other disciplines and working within established project budgets and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least 7 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Revit experience.
• Mission Critical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of construction documents from initial design through bidding under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Set up drawings and prepare design documentation.
• Oversee the production team on specific projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams on electrically focused projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on all projects.
• Deliver projects within established budgets and schedules.
