About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer develops safe, “Best for Project” solutions for complex projects and ensures regulatory compliance across electrical engineering deliverables. The role collaborates with other disciplines and team members to develop effective designs, participate in model and drawing reviews, and complete calculations to confirm systems perform as intended. The engineer applies knowledge of relevant codes and standards and works under the guidance of more senior personnel, following company workflows and standards while continuing to develop technical skills. The position designs electrical power distribution systems, control panels, shaft signalling and fiber network systems, and supports electrical equipment selection and layout. It includes electrical system modeling and analysis, design reviews, risk assessments, tender and construction support, and quality assurance reviews at shops or project sites. The role has no direct reports but oversees and reviews the work of electrical designers and EITs. Occasional travel to project sites, offices, and shop reviews is required; trips may last from one day to several weeks and may include overseas assignments.
