About The Position

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering Operations team. The role focuses on improving field performance and product reliability, resolving electrical-system failures, supporting manufacturing, and ensuring products transition smoothly through lifecycle stages. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to develop and validate solutions that meet quality, safety, regulatory, and industry requirements. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers, keeping current with industry developments, and preparing technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related area.
• More than 7 years of electrical engineering experience, emphasizing advanced analysis and problem resolution.
• Proven track record in investigating and resolving field failures.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and manufacturing support.
• Experience diagnosing fundamental issues and in reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical build and development tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Experience with industry norms and regulatory obligations.
• Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced engineering analysis to improve field performance and product reliability.
• Investigate and resolve field failures to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
• Provide manufacturing support to optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet quality standards.
• Develop and complete test plans to validate electrical system performance.
• Apply root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of issues.
• Build and develop electrical systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
• Implement procedures to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support product transitions through different lifecycle stages and ensure seamless integration.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to collaborators.
