Senior EHR Integration Specialist

McKesson•Columbus, OH
•$120,000 - $200,000

About The Position

McKesson is seeking a Senior EHR Integration Specialist to design and deliver secure, scalable, and repeatable integrations between its healthcare platform and external Electronic Health Record and Electronic Medical Record systems. This hands-on senior individual-contributor role combines software engineering, healthcare interoperability, and integration architecture. The specialist will lead production integration of SMART on FHIR applications into Epic clinical workflows and establish reusable integration patterns for Epic and other EHR environments. The role independently evaluates complex integration needs, makes technical recommendations, writes and reviews implementation code, and carries work through production delivery with limited supervision. It serves as a technical authority across Engineering, Product, Security, Identity and Access Management, Compliance, and Operations, while providing technical guidance to engineers and implementation partners without formal people-management responsibility. The position focuses on delivering production EHR integrations, defining reusable architecture, accelerating practice onboarding, establishing security and operational standards, and providing senior technical leadership. The role also creates implementation-ready technical artifacts and improves onboarding through reusable components and automation. Compensation is a base pay range of $120,000–$200,000; annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may also be offered. McKesson describes its compensation as part of a competitive Total Rewards package, but specific benefits are not listed in the posting.
