Senior Educator
About The Position
As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children. Goodstart Bendigo is located in the heart of Bendigo and offers a welcoming and accessible environment. It is conveniently positioned on a main road with public transport nearby, including a bus stop on McIvor Road just a 1-minute walk from the centre entrance. The centre offers free on-site parking. The centre is supported by an experienced leadership team including our Centre Director, 2 Assistant Directors, Educational Leader, 4 Early Learning Teachers, and 2 Room Leaders. Together, they foster staff development, a positive culture, and high-quality outcomes for children. The centre's vision is to provide a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive, working together to create a brighter future for our children and community.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Working with Children Check
