About The Position

Glebe Farm Nursery School is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting the care, learning, and development of children, ensuring they build confidence and resilience for future success. The nursery aims to provide children with healthy foundations in fantastic settings. As a Senior Early Years Educator, you will be a key part of every child's journey, ensuring they are safe, loved, and inspired through play-based learning. The nurseries are described as warm and nurturing environments that prepare children for school and equip them with life skills to flourish.

Requirements

A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

Responsibilities

Deliver care to the children.
Supervise your team.
Identify areas for improvements in learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
Embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all children within your room are met.
Ensure all record keeping requirements are regularly completed.
Conduct team appraisals.
Work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
