About The Position
Tri-City Christian School is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to provide a safe, positive, and nurturing educational environment while supervising children. The teacher partners with parents to support children’s spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The position routinely interfaces with family members and colleagues on the elementary and secondary campuses and receives support from the center Director and Campus Superintendent.
Requirements
- Child Development coursework is required.
- Alignment with TCCS values and willingness to sign the required faith statement.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Child Development or a related field is desired.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement an engaging, biblically-based curriculum.
- Design and maintain an enriching classroom environment.
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate activities into the daily schedule.
- Conduct assessments to ensure children are meeting or exceeding goals.
- Maintain portfolios that capture evidence of growth throughout the school year.
- Supervise children and provide a safe, positive, and nurturing educational environment.
- Interface with family members and colleagues on the elementary and secondary campuses.
