About The Position

T&K Pediatric Services is seeking an Early Childhood Special Educator to provide individualized early childhood services to children with developmental delays and disabilities. The role involves working directly with young children and partnering with families and other professionals to understand developmental needs, establish meaningful goals, and support progress through everyday activities and routines. The educator collaborates with a multidisciplinary team that provides pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy, as well as Early Intervention services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Organized and dependable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to support children and families.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete developmental assessments and identify individual strengths and areas of need.
Provide individualized early childhood services based on developmental goals.
Use play, everyday activities, and family routines to encourage learning and skill development.
Work directly with children and coach families on ways to support development at home.
Monitor developmental progress and maintain accurate records.
Communicate regularly with families and members of each child's care team.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and collaborative planning.
Coordinate with occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, behavioral health, and other service professionals.
