The engineer leads technical development, execution, and quality for drainage, stormwater, and containment engineering at energy and industrial facilities. Work includes site hydrology and hydraulic analysis and modeling, site grading and drainage design, secondary containment and stormwater management systems, flood mitigation, and regulatory approvals, including USACE permitting. The position serves as Engineer of Record for drainage deliverables, mentors staff, interfaces with clients and regulatory agencies, and coordinates across engineering disciplines from Concept and FEED through detailed design and construction support. Work must comply with client standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with a hydrology and hydraulics focus, 10 or more years of professional drainage study/design experience, including at least five years on Oil, Gas, Chemical, or other heavy industrial facility projects, and a Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity upon hire. Compensation is $135,000–$180,000, commensurate with education and experience. Travel may be up to 20% for site visits, client meetings, and agency coordination.
