About The Position

Pediatrics Plus is a specialized pediatric healthcare provider committed to helping children succeed through evidence-based therapy and education, diagnostic services, state-of-the-art facilities, specialized equipment, family support, and community investment. They are seeking qualified individuals for the position of Senior Director.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, physicians, clients, customers, field clinicians, and the public.
  • Knowledge of various funding source guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
  • Must be able to work with clients birth to age 21 and families who are at risk.
  • Ability to function independently in all aspects, including project identification, evaluation, contract negotiations, and coordination with management and internal departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
  • Computer skills including a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
  • Ability to represent the company in a confident, persuasive, and positive manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational, clinical and referral development systems.
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex matrix company.
  • Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding dress code.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Current license and certification for therapy/ABA related field.
  • 3+ years of successful broad clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic leadership to the therapy and ABA programs at the site.
  • Building Pediatrics Plus's culture and ensuring excellence in service.
  • Overseeing all aspects of site operations including therapy enrollment, leadership of team members, management of systems and processes, compliance with state-mandated guidelines, revenue/expenses, and health and safety.
  • Leading by example and ensuring the Pediatrics Plus culture is reinforced in all decision-making.
  • Leading daily huddles for priority setting, obstacle identification, and team member support.
  • Leading site retention efforts to retain quality team members.
  • Overseeing the direction of therapy and ABA operations, focusing on therapeutic/developmental programs, a collaborative environment, and family engagement.
  • Overseeing all aspects of team member management, including hiring, terminations, corrective actions, performance reviews, position placements, promotions, and training.
  • Ensuring approval from SVP/VP and HR/Legal for terminations based on company violations.
  • Overseeing annual themes to ensure they are actively promoted and reinforced.
  • Ensuring compliance with governing agencies, audits, and company compliance requests.
  • Providing oversight and leadership to team member management to promote leadership growth and site development, including weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with Director of ABA Services, Administrative Operations Specialist, RBT Developmental Coordinator.
  • Overseeing and ensuring compliance with all aspects of the therapy budget, including revenue, expenses, and payroll within site projections.
  • Overseeing therapy and ABA caseload management, scheduling, and efficiency.
  • Making decisions and overseeing the discharge process for clients.
  • Maintaining quality assurance through provided measures.
  • Ensuring all HR functions (payroll, time-off requests, worker’s compensation, leaves of absences, and paperwork) are completed accurately and timely, with adequate communication with HR.
  • Overseeing and handling site-related people issues, including coaching, written warnings, development plans, and terminations with leadership approval.
  • Attending and representing the site in designated organizational, leadership, and clinical program line meetings.
  • Assisting with marketing events, doctor visits, and other marketing avenues as needed.
  • Handling parent complaints or concerns and escalating if warranted.
  • Ensuring completion of site metrics to understand current status and identify needs to meet targets.
  • Attending local business functions and building relationships with local influencers, mom/parent groups, churches, and chambers within the community.
