About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director, Treasury to lead its EMEA Treasury Operations team and own the global Treasury Systems function. This hybrid leadership role combines regional operational management with a strategic, cross-functional mandate to advance treasury transformation across systems, processes, and controls. The position works out of the San Francisco office an average of three days per week. The role oversees EMEA cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank relationships, and inter-company funding, ensuring compliance with local regulatory, tax, and banking requirements. It also owns the roadmap, governance, and operational performance of treasury management systems, payment platforms, and related integrations. The Senior Director will lead global transformation initiatives, including process automation, system implementations and migrations, and operating model redesign. This includes setting transformation strategy, building business cases, managing project execution and change management, and identifying opportunities to modernize treasury operations through automation, AI/ML tools, and standardized global processes.

Requirements

15+ years of progressive treasury experience, including people leadership and systems ownership.
Deep knowledge of the EMEA treasury and banking regulatory landscape.
Hands-on experience implementing or managing treasury management systems.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA, CTP, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the EMEA Treasury Operations team.
Oversee regional cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank relationships, and inter-company funding.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, and banking requirements across EMEA jurisdictions.
Support the FX team in implementing regional risk mitigation strategies.
Partner with regional Finance, Legal, and Tax teams on treasury-related matters.
Own the roadmap, governance, and operational performance of core treasury management systems, payment platforms, and related integrations.
Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and vendor management to improve automation, controls, and reporting accuracy.
Partner with IT and Enterprise Architecture to ensure treasury systems scale with business growth.
Lead global treasury transformation projects, including process automation, system implementations and migrations, and operating model redesign.
Define transformation strategy, build business cases, and manage cross-functional project execution and change management.
Identify opportunities to modernize treasury operations through automation, AI/ML tools, and standardized global processes.
Align stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business units on transformation priorities.
