About The Position

The Senior Director, Ticket Sales and Service serves as a Legends Global leader for the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium transformation project. In conjunction with the SVP, Project Lead, this role supports the client relationship with Florida Athletics leadership, sets strategic direction for revenue generation and project execution, and leads a high-performing cross-functional team. The role is focused on delivering strong commercial performance, trusted executive partnership, and a best-in-class experience throughout the multi-year stadium renovation initiative. The University of Florida is renovating Ben Hill Griffin Stadium from 2027 through 2030. Legends Global is engaged to lead sales execution tied to premium seating, hospitality experiences, and long-term revenue strategy. The position partners with Florida Athletics and Legends stakeholders to align project milestones, product strategy, and commercial outcomes. The role is based in or closely connected to Gainesville, Florida, with onsite presence required. It operates in a dynamic, client-facing environment, and travel and schedule flexibility are required according to business needs, stakeholder meetings, project milestones, and event-related demands.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of management experience leading high-volume sales teams.
Proven sales leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, hiring, training, and performance management.
Resourceful and innovative, with an entrepreneurial spirit and partnership-oriented mindset.
Expertise in financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and deal structuring.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to develop and deliver sound recommendations to senior management.
Organization and planning skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work traditional and non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to delegate effectively.
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and various ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

Develop sales strategies and campaigns to maximize revenue for University of Florida athletics.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement the overall sales strategy, maximizing revenue and customer satisfaction in line with organizational expectations.
Oversee recruiting and onboarding for premium sales team members in partnership with HR leadership.
Create and implement regular sales training initiatives to increase premium sales representative productivity and overall team performance.
Assist the premium sales team with outbound sales efforts and new business client meetings.
Analyze historical and current sales data and performance metrics to inform future sales campaigns and identify new lead sources.
Create dashboards and virtual CRM reports to manage and track campaign performance and premium sales representative productivity.
Participate in planning meetings to discuss revenue opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders in support of premium sales department goals.
Assist in creating and managing a budget and business plan.
Solicit new business through sales outreach, presentations, sales events, and new client prospecting.
Track daily revenue, manage campaigns, and regularly communicate premium sales team performance to Legends and other key stakeholders.
Maintain and grow customer relationships and represent the Legends brand positively internally and externally.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Legends policies and procedures.
