Senior Director, Platform Products

$175,000 - $225,000Remote

About The Position

This role has a dual mandate: to build, manage, and evolve the internal platform services (data lake, AI services, cloud storage, security infrastructure) that power DealCentre and FundCentre, and to own a portfolio of complementary products sold alongside these core offerings. The successful candidate will understand how platform capabilities translate into commercial offerings, how to position them, and how to take them to market. This is a business-focused role, not a support function, managing over $100M in platform-related revenue.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in SaaS product management, with significant experience owning platform, infrastructure, or shared services products.
  • Demonstrated ability to think about platform as both internal shared services and external commercial capabilities.
  • Fluency in cloud services architecture, particularly AWS (understanding services like S3, IAM, KMS, CloudFront, Lambda, and RDS).
  • Direct experience with enterprise data, including data lake architecture, data pipelines, or AI/ML platform services.
  • Direct experience with enterprise security and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or equivalent), understanding enterprise security reviews.
  • Experience managing multi-product portfolios and prioritizing investments with competing needs.
  • P&L ownership experience at scale ($100M+ preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic positioning for platform services and complementary products.
  • A genuine Go-To-Market orientation.
  • Comfortable making decisions with imperfect data and being accountable for them.

Nice To Haves

  • Navigated the tension between standardization and flexibility in a multi-product platform.
  • Worked in financial services, legal tech, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience building a platform capability that became a commercial differentiator.
  • Ability to describe the metric proving the business outcome of an important platform investment.
  • Experience with working-backwards thinking, JTBD methodology, and storytelling as a product leadership skill.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and own the roadmap for core platform services including data lake, AI/ML services, cloud storage, security, compliance, and identity, consumed by DealCentre, FundCentre, and the broader Intralinks product portfolio.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of complementary products sold alongside DealCentre and FundCentre, understanding their role in complementing the core offering, creating differentiation, and positioning/pricing them.
  • Manage a $100M+ platform and complementary products P&L, owning the revenue and cost model, making tradeoff decisions, and being accountable for financial targets.
  • Define the strategic positioning of both platform services (internal leverage) and complementary products (external commercial value) and articulate how they reinforce each other.
  • Partner with DealCentre and FundCentre VPs as a peer, understanding their roadmaps, anticipating shared platform needs, and sequencing investments.
  • Drive cloud infrastructure strategy in partnership with Engineering, understanding how AWS services provide product capability and competitive advantage.
  • Own security, compliance, and data sovereignty as product capabilities, understanding enterprise buyer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop the platform product team, setting clear ownership, accountability, and fostering a culture of rigor and speed.
  • Represent platform and complementary product capabilities in customer conversations, sales cycles, analyst briefings, and executive reviews.
  • Drive build/buy/partner decisions for platform capabilities with clear business cases.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave
  • Professional development reimbursement opportunity
