Responsible for generating sales from new and existing customers within the Photonics industry. This role requires selling extremely technical products and services, demanding years of experience in the sale of Optical Transceivers & Silicon Photonics Solutions. A strong understanding of optics, including transceivers, NPO, CPO, scale up, scale out, and scale across, along with existing industry relationships, is essential. The candidate will also have 5+ years of experience selling into hyper-scale data center customers. The role involves ensuring customer trust and satisfaction, maintaining contact at a high, executive level, and focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. Collaboration with senior management is key for developing target customers and securing business. The sales approach is typically consultative rather than transactional, involving complex and lengthy purchase decisions where value and solution-focus are paramount.
